Quality Assurance: Laia Girós is part of our this department since the beginning of this year. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Biology, with a specialization in microbiology in food-products, and obtained a Master-degree in Quality Management in the food industry. Before to join Productos Aditivos, Laia worked at Silliker in the Food Safety department and afterwards in the Quality Assurance department of Farggi, a domestic ice-cream and pastry producer.

 

Export Department: After dividing our the department in a Food- and a Pharmaceutical unit, Jordi Burguet joined us as Sales Manager Food. Jordi is Agricultural Engineer, specialized in Food Industry. As part of his studies he stayed at Grand Ecôle Isara (Lyon, FR). Before to join our team, Jordi obtained his first working experience in the technical department of a company in the feed industry. We already noticed that his

technical background is a great asset for our export department, especially in the sale of more value added products like the fortification premixes.

 

Engineering: the latest incorporation is our new Plant Engineering Manager, Juan-Antonio Madrigal. Juan-Antonio is Chemical Engineer, and holds a Master-degree in Project Management. His working experience is quite international: he initiated his carreer at T.N.O. in the Netherlands, followed by a position as Production- and Project engineer at cement producer CEMEX, in Spain. The last few years Juan-Antonio worked for Spanish pharmaceutical company Esteve in China, in the position of Project Engineer in the construction of a pharmaceutical plant.

 

The three newcomers have different profiles, but at the same time they have several characteristics in common: a strong educational background, relevant work experience, hands-on attitude and of course good language skills, especially in English. These make them fit in very well at Productos Aditivos, an internationally focused company, expanding business based on Quality and Service.
